ASE and Mr. Hanno have been strong supporters of IATA's ground operations initiatives, policies and procedures. In particular, Mr. Hanno has himself been an active participant in the previous aviation ground services agreement (AGSA) task force. He was also an officer of the IATA Ground handling Council (IGHC) and the subsequent Ground Operations working Group (GOG).
